VEHICLE EXHAUST EXTRACTION WITH HOSE REELS TO CONTROL CO AND DIESEL FUMES

by | May 22, 2015 | Case studies

Texas Electronics was called by a local Chrysler dealership. Here is the problem they were experiencing and how we fixed it….

Problem: Toxic fumes in the workplace

Carbon monoxide and diesel fumes are a dangerous by-product of today’s internal combustion engine. Automotive and truck repair facilities encounter this silent killer on a continual basis as vehicles enter the work space, are being worked on, and then again upon exiting.

Solution: Vehicle exhaust extraction at the source

With the installation of an overhead local vehicle exhaust extraction system (LVEES), dangerous gases are extracted and controlled right at the source thereby minimizing the exposure of the workers to these harmful particulates. Local extraction of these gases with the LVEES meets local health and safety codes, minimizes downtime and helps to increase worker productivity.
