Problem: Toxic fumes in the work place and high building structure

Shown in the picture above is an installation at a large GM dealership where we were asked to provide an effective concept to control gas and diesel fumes emanating from the running of engines in their mechanical garage. The excessively high building structure posed certain concerns as to the effective manner in which the overhead exhaust system would work adequately.

Solution: Vehicle exhaust extraction at the source with balancers

Our engineers, working in conjunction with the customer, developed a concept utilizing a high capacity system with overhead recoil balancers. Extended length flexible hoses with custom designed tailpipe adapters were added to complete the system.
